Spidercam

Spidercam is a joystick operated four point computer controlled wire system that allows 3 dimensional movements over an area up to 260m x 260m. A gyroscopically stabilised gimble contains a high speed remote head for precise control.

• Kevlar support cables have fibre optic core for transmission of picture and control data
• There is no picture break-up normally encountered with microwave links
• Fibre optic cable capable of carrying SDI / HD-SDI or Composite Video signals
• Remote head has sliprings, suitable for HD-SDI, which allow continuous 360 degree rotation in pan
• Actively stabilised gimble with integrated 2 axis remote head
• Payload of 6Kgs
• Speed 10m/s
• Currently specified for Panasonic 800 / 900 series or Hitachi DK-H31
• Other camera options are easily adapted for.
• Coverage of 260m x 260m area
• 12:1 Safety Factor on support cables
